It starts….
Today is miserable outside. The weather is awful and its one of those days when you cant really get motivated, but…..its not been that bad so far.
In August this year, 19 of us head off for Ecuador on mission to help re-generate a hosiptal in the Rainforest about 5 hours outside Quito. Today was our first training day together and its been a good one.
In previous missions these days have always proved a valuable excercise as you prepare those who may never have travelled and those who may have but will have never experienced mission before.
In case you are wondering, I am a Christian and by that I dont mean someone who trys to be good and all that but rather someone who has found that God is real and He loves me. I want tolive my life for Him and by His leading. He is awesome and powerful and loving and I would encourage anyone to reach out to God cos’ you’ll find Him reaching out to you.
Anyway, I hope youre day has been a good one so far and that you know Jesus Christ personally. I have a rest now before a church eladers meeting tonight (how wonderful!). England play tonight and Im going to miss the game. Pants!!
