Ecuador here we come…

Well, it’s tomorrow that the big off happens…

Me and Beth drove the Wrights to Heathrow today as they are flying a day earlier than the rest of the team. It was great to be able to see all those protesters at first hand and very amusing to be honest.

Ex-employees of Gate Gourmet before meeting union representatives in Southall, west London

All the disgruntled employees with placards on a grassy hill shouting and chanting with the worlds media all round them. There were so many tv crews and stuff.

KLM has not been affected by the strikes so their flight got off on time. Hope ours does tomorrow.

It seems weird to think we will all be on our flight bound for Amsterdam this time tomorrow. Hope ours is on time!

Then it’s Quito for 8.00am Sunday Morning although really, it will be 2.00pm our time which is where it always gets confusing. …Guinea pigs for breakfast?

Still, we are really hoping for a fantastic trip and hope to have loads of great stories to tell on our return. Watch out for photos and updates here when we return. Be good!

COME ON!!

Been a long time, little donkey….

Its been ages since I wrote on my blog. Sorry to all you www.stuartholmes.blog.com fans!! all 2&half of you.

Well, everything is targeted at Ecuador now. Had a good family holiday last week in Wales. Weather was ok but kept telling myself that the sun shines loads in Ecuador…..it better had now!!

We head off on Saturday to Heathrow Airport and then have a 24-30 hour journey to get to Shell in Ecuador including air and land journeys. Really am looking forward to it now and I know that it is going to be an awesome time.

Im hopeful that maybe I can make some entries in this blog to keep it up to date while we are there…..they seem to have email and internet access in the rain forest…..come on!!

Missing the first few games of the season which is a hardship I can put up with. COME ON THE BLUES!! Lets hope for another whitewash over the Villa this year.

God is ace! Why does He love us when we are always letting Him down? I dont know but I am just glad He does.

Anyway, have fun and Ill speak to you soon.

COME ON!!!!

Stuart
